The structure of farms, which are small due to the abrupt terrain, complicates the incorporation of mechanization. The techniques which are most widely used are devoted "low vines" which raise the costs, especially the cost of labour for harvesting.
Vegetables, potatoes and fruits are grown in smaller amounts and are aimed mostly at the local market (tomatoes, potatoes, lettuce, onions, sweet potatoes, yams, fruit, etc.).
