There are some with black or yellow sand, there are some windy or quiet, there are some deserted or populated, there are some remote or nearby, but all of them show their beauty when visited for the first time. We will try to show the most popular and beautiful beaches of the south coast of Anaga.
Las Teresitas Beach
A very fine yellow sand beach located in the fishing village of San Andrés. Nowadays represents the main beach of the city of Santa Cruz de Tenerife. It is equiped with all kind of amenities: showers, Red Cross, wide parking area and a range where to eat.
The Beaches form Las Gaviotas and Playa Chica
These black sand beaches are located in a little Cliff between the village of San Andrés and Igueste de San Andrés. It is accessed via TF-121. From the parking lot you can access to both beaches.
Igueste de San Andrés
This cove located in the village of Igueste de San Andrés, presents one of the greatest attractions of the coast. The beach, mostly of boulders, shows a small area of black sand at low tide. It is however the village of Igueste de San Andrés one of the unique places in the Anaga Rural Park. A real garden of tropical trees.
Antequera beach is undoubtedly the unspoilt beach of Anaga. Only accesible by boat or on foot, it gives us the opportunity to enjoy its clear water. An authentic oasis protected by the majestic Roque de Antequera. From Albergue de Anaga, we offer you one of the most attractive trails of Tenerife.
